Meeting rooms for individual press briefings will be available by reservation in the Press Center during the event. You may submit a meeting room request as early as August 1, 2008, by contacting Kate Walsh. Please include the following information in your request:

The Press Center may only be used by registered exhibitors, representatives, press and analysts. For each meeting, one attendee must be registered as press (journalist/analyst) and the other must be a registered exhibitor.

WiMAX World 2008 Press Walk: Bringing the Press Right to Your Booth!
WiMAX World not only delivers a highly qualified, global senior-level business and technology audience, it draws the media you want to write about your company, products and/or services. And this year, we’ve found another exciting way to get your messages in front of them!
Trendsmedia is pleased to announce this year’s event will feature the WiMAX World 2008 Press Walk. Making it easier than ever to get your company in front of the media at WiMAX World, this press walk will bring qualified journalists right to your booth before the conference even begins!
Designed to provide you with a unique opportunity to preview your company’s messages and booth to media in attendance, the WiMAX World 2008 Press Walk guides registered journalists through a tour of the Expo floor before the show doors open to the public.
Led by Trendsmedia’s Senior Marketing Director, Kate Walsh, the WiMAX World 2008 Press Walk kicks off at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 30. Exhibitors should be prepared to make a good impression with the media by making sure their staff and booth are ready to “put their best foot forward” in time for the press walk.

Public Relations Opportunities and Updates
Media Invites: Trendsmedia is in constant communication with media and analysts to ensure they attend and cover this year’s event. Exhibitors are encouraged to forward a list of top media and analysts they would like to invite to attend and/or ensure are included on our press list for this year’s event. Contact details may only be submitted using the attached Excel spreadsheet. All contacts are to be forwarded to Erin Healey by August 24th.
Exhibitor Quotes: Trendsmedia would like to invite exhibitors to submit a quote from a senior executive that outlines why WiMAX World Americas is an important venue for showcasing their WiMAX solutions. The best quotes submitted will be rotated on the WiMAX World Americas Web Site and also used in our communications to press and analysts. If you are interested in submitting a quote, please send it to Erin Healey by August 20th, including the name, title and contact coordinates of the person who is being quoted.
Exhibitor News Summary: To help promote news from WiMAX World Americas Exhibitors, Trendsmedia will be issuing a summary press release that includes a roundup of exhibitor news. To be included in this press release, please forward a one-sentence summary of any product news or other announcements you will be issuing at the show to Erin Healey by September 25th. News about recently announced products that will be making their debut at the show, are also welcome. Please note the summary sentence should be written in the third person.
PR Strategy: The WiMAX World PR team is available to assist you with any questions or issues you may have regarding your PR outreach strategy before or during the event, including tips on contacting press and analysts, as well as PR advice based on industry events and topics at WiMAX World that will be of interest to your company. This information will be updated and made available on a weekly basis until the event, with the final press and analyst list available the week after the conclusion of WiMAX World. This information will give you the opportunity to set up interviews and meetings during the event.
